Yoga Hive Philly’s 200 HR Teacher Training Program

Now is your chance to enhance your yoga practice, with a 200 hr Teacher Training program hosted by Yoga Hive Philly. Become a certified Yoga Alliance Teacher in 5 months, with a weekend intensive starting in October. The training will run from Friday, October 4th through Saturday, February 22nd. Classes will run over the weekend, to allow students who are working during the week to take advantage of this incredible inner journey. Teacher Trainings give individuals the opportunity to self-heal, become more self-aware, and have a purposeful breakthrough. Teacher Trainings give students a more meaningful life with self-realization.

We create a very supportive and non-competitive environment at Yoga Hive Philly. Students of all experience levels are welcomed. This is an opportunity to engulf yourself in yoga, through freedom from self, and all of life’s burdens. You do not necessarily need to desire to teach yoga classes once certified, though you will have all the skills needed to lead group classes once completing this program.

This training will be led by Samatha Cassaro and held at the Yoga Hive Philly Studio. The training program will be well-rounded offering the learnings of many different types of yoga, leaving students with a very versatile skillset.

  • hatha & vinyasa yoga
  • how to teach a gentle/ chair class for people with injuries
  • yin, restorative, slow-flow
  • breath work training & meditation training

We will also dive into the sister science of yoga, Ayurveda, & develop the confidence to lead a class. You will also learn the chakras, Nadia and Bandas, as well as, the philosophy of yoga, the Sutras, Bhagavad Gita and much more!

About The Lead Trainer

Samantha Cassaro has always found her calling in helping others in need. She started an advice blog for young teens after she found yoga during a challenging time in her life. She has experienced first-hand how these ancient practices can bring you back into a balanced way of being and wanted to share her experience with others who may benefit from these practices as much as she has.

She decided to deepen her knowledge of yoga by attending a 300 Hour Yoga Teacher Training with Tracie Brace at Rasa Yoga in Houston, TX. Through this training she found Ayurveda. She fell in love with the harmony of practicing yoga with Ayurveda and decided to deepen her knowledge by attending an advanced training at Kripalu School of Yoga and Ayurveda in Massachusetts. She graduated as an Ayurvedic Health Counselor. She worked as part of the teaching team for Spiritual Journey Wellness Center’s 200Hr Yoga Teacher Training program for 4 different groups of trainees. After moving to Philly, she attended Philadelphia School of Massage and Bodywork to add to her arsenal of Healing modalities. Samantha interweaves all of her education, knowledge and experience of healing modalities to help her clients and students live their best lives.
